The publication is devoted to the characteristic of the patterns of expanding states in the information age. The patterns of expanding states in the information age are mechanisms of hidden external interference in the internal affairs of other states under the circumstances of an undeclared hybrid war. Some approaches to characterizing the components of such patterns are analyzed
